New Haven Youth & Family Services is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Coach to join our Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) program serving at-risk youth and families in the Temecula, Hemet, and Lake Elsinore areas. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing clinical experience in the field of behavioral health, including MFT and MSW interns, as well as professionals with a background in counseling, psychology, or related human services fields.

This role offers hands-on experience working directly with youth and families in home and community-based settings while making a meaningful impact.

Full-time positions with benefits are also available.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized behavioral interventions in home and community settings

• Support youth and families in managing behaviors that impact daily functioning and stability

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and treatment teams to support positive outcomes

• Assist in reducing behaviors that may lead to higher levels of care or hospitalization

• Complete required documentation in accordance with agency standards

• Attend weekly team meetings and participate in treatment planning discussions

• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and team members

• Travel to client homes and community locations as needed

Schedule Expectations

• Service hours typically between 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM

• Weekly team meeting in Temecula on Fridays from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

• Consistent afternoon and early evening availability required

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required (Master's degree preferred)

• 1+ year experience working with children or adolescents with emotional or behavioral challenges preferred (not required)

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to provide behavioral support and follow treatment plans consistently

• Strong documentation, organization, and time management skills

• Comfortable working in home and community-based environments

• Proficient with basic computer systems (Word, Outlook, Excel, electronic documentation systems)

• Valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass background clearance requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
