Product Engineer

Overview

The Product Engineer I is a junior-level position based in Tempe, AZ. The role involves developing product design concepts, detailed engineering drawings, and technical documentation to support research and development initiatives. Responsibilities include support for advanced engineered products across vehicle systems, aerospace components, and infrastructure-related technologies.

• Design, develop, and detail new products and technologies using Solid Works.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design reviews, trade studies, test plans and reports.
• Support procurement, build, integration, and testing of prototype and production-ready products.
• Assist in product testing and validation activities.
• Maintain and support existing production products.
• Contribute to engineering support for bids and proposals.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in product development.
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• High proficiency in Solid Works.

• ASME Y14.100 (engineering drawing practices).
• ASME Y14.5 (GD&T standards).
