At our Tempe Campus, you'll support mission-critical facilities that enable life-saving innovation and manufacturing. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician III, you'll play a key role in sustaining a safe, reliable, and inclusive work environment.
This role is fully onsite in Tempe.
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in a cleanroom and production facility
+ Work within RODI Systems
+ Troubleshoot complex systems and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams
+ Respond to urgent building system alarms and prioritize work orders based on safety, production, and compliance needs
+ Maintain and document equipment records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
+ Ensure all tasks comply with OSHA, Medtronic EHS standards, FDA regulations, and cGMP guidelines
+ Support facilities projects including equipment upgrades, utility installs, and space reconfigurations
+ Mentor and guide junior technicians as needed
+ Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace
First shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F) with flexibility to occasionally cover other shifts (2nd, 3rd and/or weekends) as needed.
** Must Haves*
* 2+ years of Facilities/HVAC experience
** Nice to Have*

Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, or electrical systems
+ Knowledge and experience working with RODI Systems
+ Ability to read blueprints, technical schematics, and operating manuals
+ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
+ Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (semiconductor, medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, etc.)
+ Working knowledge of building automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell)
+ Familiarity with cleanroom protocols or ISO-classified environments
+ EPA 608 Universal Certification or equivalent
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
+ Commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
