Summary
Maintains cleanliness of park buildings & facilities. Duties include debris and trash removal in all park areas, cleaning, sanitizing, and re-stocking restrooms. Reports issues such as vandalism/graffiti, responds to phone calls, and works weekend hours as needed.
Responsibilities- Remove trash and debris from all park facilities
- Clean, sweep, mop, and sanitize all parks restrooms including toilets, sinks, light fixtures, mirrors, walls, and floors
- Keep tools and supplies clean and organized
- Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning items
- Complete daily reports and document vandalism and graffiti
- Identify and report maintenance repair items to supervisor
- Support special events, both City and private, and help with the set up and take down of the portable stage
- Follow City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in custodial maintenance or related area
- One (1) year of park maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
Summary
This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance and operation of city owned ball fields and sports facilities.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain athletic fields and sport courts, including dragging and striping fields, setting bases, mowing, weed eating, cleaning restrooms and trash removal
- Maintain and repair area parks and facilities, including mowing, weed eating, edging, tree pruning, play structures, pavilions, fencing, lighting, irrigation systems, sidewalks, parking lots, restroom cleaning, tree planting, and trash removal
- Operate and perform minor maintenance of mowers, edgers, blowers, trucks, trailers, utility vehicles, infield rake, and hand tools
- Identify maintenance repairs and submit related requests to supervisor
- Complete and submit required paperwork
- Assist with preparation of special events, tournaments, and league practices, including the set-up, staging, and clean-up
- Ensure City financial policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in maintenance or operating related equipment
- One year experience in landscape, ballfield, or horticulture maintenance or related field
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft applications
- Valid driver's license
Summary
Landscaping of City properties including mowing, weed eating, trash and debris removal, hedge trimming and other duties as needed. This requires use of mowers, saws, and other related tools. Regular schedule - Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. Schedule may vary to include weekends and holidays based on events, inclement weather or as operational demands require.
Responsibilities- Mow, trim, and edge assigned areas along roadsides and City owned property
- Perform general park maintenance to play structures, pavilions, fencing, lighting, irrigation systems, restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, playground equipment and concrete work
- Remove ground litter before mowing from assigned area
- Drive to work sites and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport
- Complete daily paperwork including maintenance trac, equipment inspection forms, time/leave requests
- Work on special events as assigned
- Follow city policies, procedures and safety guidelines pertaining to the work area and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with common landscaping equipment
- One year of experience in general maintenance and/or landscaping
- Valid driver's license
