Overview
Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit focused on Renal Transplant, Urology, Peritoneal Dialysis, Pulmonary HTN, and more. The Temple Memorial campus is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Unit SummarySTC 3 is a 35‑bed monitored unit that cares for a diverse patient population, including complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension patients, kidney and pancreas transplant patients, peritoneal dialysis patients, and radioactive implant cases. It is the only unit in the hospital that performs peritoneal dialysis, and the only floor equipped with lead‑lined rooms for radioactive therapies in the inpatient setting.
What You’ll Do- Peritoneal dialysis management
- Epidural
- Continuous bladder irrigation
- Nephrostomy and urostomy care
- Complex urinary catheter insertions and care
- Suprapubic catheter insertion and care
- Fistula access
You will also have the opportunity to train in ultrasound‑guided IV insertion, expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

- Graduate of RN School of Nursing (or RN required; ADN required; BSN preferred)
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- RN license
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
