** Job Description**# Are you ready to be part of a team that values safety, continuous improvement, quality, and employee well-being? CHEP is looking for motivated Quality Control Auditor to join our Temple, TX team on 2nd shift.
If you have quality experience in an industrial setting, can sweat through 8-hours of repetitive heavy lifting, and a have strong work ethic, a Quality Control position with CHEP could be a great fit!  .
** Key Responsibilities May Include:
** Pallet Inspection & Quality Control
* Lifts pallets for inspection to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
* Inspect pallets for defects, damages, and inconsistencies in materials or assembly.
* Utilize tools and equipment to correct minor issues and verify dimensions, weight, and other quality parameters of pallets.
* Identify and document any deviations from quality standards.
* Communicates inspections results and quality issues with production teams and supervisors.
* Adheres to PCP standards and guidelines.
* Partners with Quality Lead to ensure plant compliance of quality practices and continuous and improvement initiatives.
* Provide support during audits and inspections.
* Lift and carry 77 lbs at least 33% of their work shift.
* Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.
* Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.

Safety and Compliance:
* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
* Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
* Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.#

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our products are of the highest quality before they are provided to our customers. QC Auditor has a keen eye for detail, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.#
