Parts Inspector/Finisher Repair Tech I
Grade 4
Position OverviewResponsible for constructing and repairing fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts. This role involves using a variety of tools and materials to ensure high‑quality finishes and structural integrity.
Essential Functions- Examine and measure boat parts and components to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
- Use precision tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines, to verify dimensions and detect defects or inconsistencies.
- Meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality checks.
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or marine environment.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Excellent attention to detail for identifying defects and inconsistencies in parts and components.
- Ability to meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or GED.

Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance, including PPE usage, safety policy adherence, and hazard reporting. Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA and DEP and be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $21.42 - $24.05 per hour
. The base pay offered will vary based on experience and business needs and may include an annual discretionary bonus or short‑term incentive program. Eligible for an award target as part of a long‑term incentive program.
