Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily functions as explained and demonstrated by lead supervisor within the time allocated per company standards.
- Operate machine shop and mold press equipment to support the assembly floor.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Carry out prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required by P.M. charts.
- Execute tasks including milling, turning, drilling, taping, de‑burring, molding, and bench operations, with inspection of finished parts.
- Observe and respond to machine malfunction warnings and alarm signals.
- Maintain familiarity with basic machine functions required for task completion.
- Accept frequent supervision and assistance during machine set‑up.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Work in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner, adhering to all safety standards and company policies, including mandatory safety training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and to climb or balance.
- Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, climb, and squat for prolonged periods.
- Employ close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for effective operation.
- Maintain a good attitude and common sense; be a team player and work well with others.
- Understand and follow instructions and directions.
- Be available to work weekends and/or overtime.
- Work and concentrate in a noisy environment.
- Wearing protective equipment such as earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, boots, and respirators when required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum one year of factory‑related experience.
Work EnvironmentManufacturing plant environment with extreme temperature fluctuations, dusty and noisy surroundings, and exposure to odors and fumes.
