Elementary Teacher

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to join our team at Jones Elementary. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students in the elementary grades.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and promote student learning
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and encourages student participation
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents on a regular basis
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
- Attend and participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed to help them succeed academically and socially

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and best practices
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
