Secondary Teacher

Location: Brackettville

Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Secondary Teacher for Brackett High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and instructing students in grades 9-12 in various subjects. They will create engaging lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide feedback to students and parents.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students and the overall curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and engagement
- Assess student performance regularly and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Attend meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification in the state of Texas
- Experience teaching secondary students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the classroom
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
