Skills Needed: Qualifications - The ideal candidate will:

Have a Bachelors degree in either Chemistry or Physics, a related field, or equivalent job experience
Have experience tutoring or teaching a variety of science courses, particularly high school Physics or Chemistry.
Be a seasoned educator with experience responding to student needs
Experience running science labs and/or creating science curriculum a plus
Exhibit a passion for content knowledge and a range of effective teaching approaches
Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and challenging learning environment
Integrate technology in effective ways that enhances students’ learning experiences and growth
Be responsive to the social and emotional needs of students
Be able to work on campus in Wichita Falls, TX
Must be at least 21 years of age

Skills Needed: DO YOU HAVE: 
A valid teaching license with appropriate endorsement OR
A current Statement of Eligibility from an approved licensing program

AND ARE YOU?
Great at using data to drive instruction
Able to drive the mission and vision of PLA
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
