Bi- Vocational Pastor

THIS IS A BI-VOCATIONAL PASTOR POSITION

Any applicant for pastor of First Baptist Church, Mobeetie Texas must meet the qualifications as set forth in 1st Timothy, Chapter 3:1-7. The pastor must also hold the belief that the Holy Bible is the perfect and true word of the Lord, stands or falls as a whole, and is a reflection of its Author who wrote the Bible Himself working through human authors and through divine inspiration.

Our church body is looking for the pastor that the Lord Himself has in mind for us. We believe He knows exactly where we are spiritually in our development and knows who is best suited to shepherd our members. It is our prayer that Satan will not be allowed to intervene in this search process.

The church now has 35-40 faithful members each Sunday, with various children’s, youth, young adult, and adult Sunday School classes. On Wednesday nights, we also hold children’s, youth and adult classes. We have five deacons, two trustees, a church secretary and a custodian, and have recently purchased a parsonage within walking distance southwest of the church.
