Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and revise comprehensive curricula, instructional frameworks, and learning pathways aligned with educational standards, learning outcomes, and market needs. You will lead the end-to-end curriculum design process, from research and framework planning to content structuring, assessment design, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with subject experts, instructional designers, and teaching teams to create coherent, effective, and engaging learning experiences that support learners’ growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on educational policies, curriculum standards, industry requirements, and learner characteristics to define curriculum goals, scope, learning sequences, and competency frameworks.
  • Design the overall curriculum structure, including module breakdown, unit planning, learning objectives, and progression pathways; ensure logical continuity, appropriate difficulty gradients, and alignment with teaching and assessment needs.
  • Develop detailed curriculum documents, such as teaching syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans, learning guidelines, and competency maps; clearly define knowledge points, skills, teaching methods, and expected learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with content developers, textbook writers, and multimedia teams to guide content creation, ensuring all materials strictly follow the curriculum framework and meet design specifications; provide professional guidance and review to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Design assessment systems, including formative and summative evaluations, examination specifications, performance tasks, and grading criteria, to accurately measure learning effectiveness and competency mastery.
  • Pilot new or revised curricula, collect feedback from teachers, learners, and stakeholders, analyze implementation results, and make data-driven adjustments and optimizations.
  • Keep updated on the latest educational theories, teaching methodologies, and industry trends; integrate innovative concepts and practices into curriculum design to maintain competitiveness and educational value.
  • Maintain curriculum documentation, version control, and development records; coordinate cross-team workflows to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of curriculum projects.
  • Requirements Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Psychology, a relevant academic discipline, or related fields;
      Master’s degree is preferred.
    • years of experience in curriculum design, educational program development, instructional design, or related roles; experience in educational publishing, training institutions, or formal education systems is highly valued.
    • Prior experience leading curriculum development projects or designing standards-aligned learning systems is a strong advantage.
    Knowledge & Skills
    • Deep understanding of curriculum design principles, learning theories, instructional strategies, and cognitive development rules for different learner groups.
    • Familiarity with national/international curriculum standards, competency frameworks, and assessment systems (e.g., Singapore MOE, Cambridge, IB, etc.).
    • Strong ability to design systematic, structured, and learner-centered curricula; excellent logical thinking, analytical, and planning capabilities.
    • Outstanding written communication skills: able to express complex educational concepts clearly, accurately, and professionally in curriculum documents and guidelines.
    • Proficient in using office tools, project management software, and curriculum design tools; familiarity with digital learning platforms or educational technology is a plus.
    • Strong research capability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams; good problem-solving and project management skills.
