Personal Banker

About the Role

The Person al Banker is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience by adhering to the bank’s Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. He/she will acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring the client to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed.

Key responsibilities also include uncovering and originating consumer lending and small business lending opportunities, engaging clients in financial reviews, opening accounts, and originating loans independently or with minimal assistance. The role also supports teller functions and coaches colleagues.

• Deliver an exceptional client experience guided by the Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying needs and offering suitable products and services.
• Refer clients to appropriate business partners within the bank.
• Uncover and originate consumer and small‑business lending opportunities.
• Engage clients in financial reviews to provide solutions and identify additional needs.
• Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
• Maintain proactive client contact and resolve issues in alignment with service standards.
• Open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Originate consumer loans independently and accurately; originate business loans independently or with minimal assistance.
• Provide teller functions (cash transactions) when needed.
• Support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products to internal partners.
• Demonstrate proficiency with basic business, consumer, and trust entities.
• Mentor other team members about products, services, and business partners.
• Back up the Assistant Manager with operational duties.
• Stay current with products, procedures, and regulatory changes.
• Resolve client issues and requests with strong follow‑through.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all bank regulations and policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation
  
  CC, Regulation
  
  E, and bank security requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Minimum one year of teller or other banking experience (required).
• In‑depth knowledge of consumer products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts, drawers, and perform calculations.
• Proficiency in expanding client relationships with emphasis on creating new relationships.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing & Registry (NMLS) within 60 days (required).

Pay range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Location:

13500 SW Pacific Highway 86, Tigard, OR 97223. The role requires full onsite work at the posted location.
