Applicant Pool, Workforce & Community Services (Non-Credit, Short-term Training)
Job DescriptionInstructor will teach classes for Workforce Community Services. The instructor will represent the college in a professional manner while instructing WCS students. Depending on the class, the instructor will be responsible for course content.
Essential Functions- Instruct students in topics such as computer software (MS Office Suite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.), leadership, business skills (communication, writing, etc.) and personal development (delegation, time management, positive attitude, etc.)
- Lead personal enrichment classes, artful living, customer service, quality improvement, safety skills, etc.
- Teach specific certifications (ISO, DDI, Achieve Global) and customized curricula as required for contract and open enrollment training.
- Prior experience with open enrollment and/or contract training situations.
- Availability of days, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Proficiency with computer software coursework and ability to develop course content.
- Strong presentation skills, ability to engage students, and professional demeanor.
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
