Are you a highly skilled SMART Repair Technician with a passion for precision, quality and exceptional results? We’re looking for an experienced SMART Repair Supervisor to join our well‑established team at Hendy Group, based at our Tonbridge site.
The Opportunity:
As our SMART Repair Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of our Bodyshop operation, ensuring high‑quality cosmetic repairs are completed efficiently, safely and to the standards our customers expect.
Working across static and mobile environments, you’ll use your expertise to deliver first‑class cosmetic repairs while organising workflow, supporting colleagues and ensuring targets and time frames are met. Your technical skill, attention to detail and ability to guide others will make you a trusted expert within the team.
Responsibilities- Organising daily workflow, managing repair schedules and agreeing timescales with the team.
- Producing accurate, fixed‑price repair estimates.
- Carrying out high‑quality cosmetic repairs, including minor accident damage, panel preparation, painting, lacquering, finishing and other SMART repairs.
- Delivering professional alloy wheel refurbishment across static and mobile setups.
- Maintaining clean, organised and compliant work areas with a strong understanding of repair processes.
- Upholding high standards of health and safety for yourself and those around you.
- Ensuring all work meets quality, efficiency and compliance expectations.

- Proven experience in SMART Repair or Bodyshop work (essential).
- The ability to provide a high‑volume, fast‑paced service while maintaining exceptional standards.
- Experience preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard using the latest products and equipment.
- Excellent technical knowledge across paint mixing, repairs, masking, painting, polishing and alloy wheel refurbishment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A flexible, positive and "can‑do" approach.
- The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Good PC skills and clear communication abilities.
