Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Worker based in Topeka, KS. The Construction Worker will be responsible for performing tasks such as saw cutting concrete, pouring concrete, general construction, and renovation work. Day-to-day tasks include site preparation, handling tools, assisting with building structures, and ensuring safety regulations are followed throughout projects. Collaboration with team members and adherence to project schedules will be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications- Skills in concrete cutting and finishing, with experience in handling materials and tools related to these tasks.
- Proficiency in general Construction and Renovation practices, including knowledge of safety standards and effective building techniques.
- Ability to conduct Research to understand project requirements, materials, and methods for effective workflow.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work long hours in outdoor and on-site environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction is advantageous.
