Contribute to an enriching Learning Commons as a Library Technician. Support student interactions and foster a culture of curiosity and literacy in a vibrant school setting.
In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in creating inviting learning spaces that encourage student engagement. Collaborate closely with teachers, promote exciting library programs, and ensure the library is organized and welcoming. Lead after-school care by managing attendance and guiding routines to provide a safe environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a positive atmosphere for learning
• Assist with library classes and activities
• Organize library resources and programs
• Ensure library materials are in order
• Lead and manage After School Care activities
Requirements:
• Library Technician diploma or equivalent
• Experience with library technologies preferred
• Background in school library operations is helpful
• Familiarity with age-appropriate literature
• Preferably experienced with elementary-age students
Drive student literacy and curiosity within a collaborative Learning Commons environment while inspiring a passion for learning.
