French Teacher; FSFO

Future Hope Academy is a Private Christian Secondary School. We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to teach the FSF1O course.

• 2+ years experience in the Ontario High School French Curriculum.
• French as a Second Language (FSL) teaching qualification
• Strong knowledge of advanced French grammar, text analysis, essay writing, and communication strategies.
• Ability to lead immersive, communication-focused language lessons using authentic francophone media.
• Skill in designing assessments aligned with the Ontario Curriculum and Growing Success.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including ELL and IEP-supported students.
• Effective use of technology for language learning (digital tools, audio/video activities).
• Strong classroom management and ability to maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Experience in course development with course binder.
• Ability to utilize differentiated instruction and collaborative inquiry to maximize student learning.
• Knowledge of teaching students about the structure and content of the French.
• Ability to record, track and report student information such as Grades, Learning Skills, Attendance, and Descriptive Feedback.
• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or equivalent (Preferred).
• Experience with inspection preparation and knowledge of the seven fundamental principles of assessment.
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

This is a term contract job with 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday except holidays. The term is from June 1 till June 26, 2026. Renewal is available.
