Overview

EF Language Abroad is looking for dynamic, interactive, and energetic teachers to join our education team and are recruiting part-time ESL teachers. This position requires in-person teaching at our campus and not remote teaching. We are hiring for General English, Special Interest, and substitute positions. Curriculum, supplemental resources, and both initial and ongoing training are provided. EF provides ongoing professional development to our instructors in the field of English language teaching.

• Teach classes of 15-17 students of varying English proficiency from all over the world using EF’s in-house curriculum and methodology to lead interactive and hands-on classes.
• Add your own energy and creativity to lesson plans to ensure students are learning as much as they are having fun.
• Participate in face-to-face and online training to prepare for the role, with support from the Academic Team for professional development and guidance throughout tenure.

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Teach cohorts of 15-17 students of varying English proficiency from diverse backgrounds, using EF’s curriculum and methodology to facilitate language acquisition in an engaging environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and a natural leader in the classroom
• Responsible, approachable, and friendly
• Highly organized, flexible, and globally minded
• 3 months of experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting with 15+ students (Preferred)
• ESL or TEFL certification
• CELTA, DELTA, or TESOL qualification is required
• Experience with standardized ESL exams (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge) is a plus
