Environmental Coordinator

Become an Environmental Coordinator at Potentia Renewables in Toronto with a hybrid work model. Utilize your skills in environmental permitting and compliance for impactful renewable projects.

This role is essential for supporting environmental permitting and compliance across Canada and the US. You'll work closely with various teams—Development & Origination, Construction & Engineering, Finance, and Operations. Build toward independence by assisting in regulatory submissions, data tracking, and stakeholder engagement under experienced guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review environmental assessments and permit applications for completeness

• Draft internal and regulatory environmental reports

• Collect and organize data for permits and reports

• Participate in site inspections to verify compliance

• Support communication with regulatory agencies and project managers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field

• 0-3 years of experience in environmental permitting

• Foundational understanding of environmental policies

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to travel up to 20% of time
