Freddie, Frida, and Foria, and partners with Affirming Care Pharmacy. Freddie focuses on improving sexual health through education, prevention, and treatment with a focus on the LGBTQ2S+ community. Frida provides easier access to adult ADHD diagnosis and treatment. Foria Clinic offers gender-affirming healthcare for trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse Canadians. Affirming Care Pharmacy is a specialty pharmacy with locations in Calgary, Alberta, and Mississauga, Ontario.

This partnership provides an end-to-end healthcare experience, from treatment to prescription delivery to continuous affirming care. Required Availability: Ability to commute to 34 Wellesley St E, Toronto, ON. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity at 40 hours per week. Affirming Care Pharmacy hours are currently Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with expected expansion to evenings and/or weekends. Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business needs is required.

We are looking for a highly motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our Affirming Care Pharmacy team in Toronto. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacist will play a key role in day-to-day pharmacy operations, helping refine processes and ensure every patient receives inclusive, affirming care. Providing Patient Care & Support

• Performing patient medication counseling duties and providing exceptional customer service both over the phone and in person
• Coordinating with patients to set up shipping and delivery preferences
• Managing patients  refill cycles to ensure they do not run out of medication
• Assisting patients in navigating insurance challenges
• Providing in-person patient care, including administering injections in accordance with scope of practice and regulatory requirements

Leading Pharmacy Operations & Oversight

• Supervising and assisting Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants to ensure the accuracy of all prescriptions dispensed and shipped per College of Pharmacy regulations
• Overseeing inventory management; performing inventory audits, managing purchasing of packaging and pharmacy supplies, and coordinating medication orders with wholesalers

Maintaining Compliance & Driving Collaboration

• Ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws, rules and regulations
• Ensuring documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations
• Collaborating with team members to formulate business insights and drive operational and patient care improvements

• A Bachelor s degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharm-D
• An active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, with authorization to administer injections
• 2+ years of experience as a Staff Pharmacist
• A strong understanding of pharmacy business operations and economics
• Proficiency in all aspects of pharmacy software, including data entry, billing, report generation, and troubleshooting
• A positive attitude, strong sense of urgency, and team player mentality
• Experience navigating operational, technological, and strategic change
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to set priorities, manage time effectively, and be detail-oriented
• Active listening and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings and weekends

• Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin
• Experience with Kroll

• $105,000 - $120,000 CAD per year
• Compensation may vary based on qualifications, knowledge, competencies, experience, and market conditions. Base pay is part of total rewards for full-time employees at Purpose Med.
