Join the Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment team as an IT Event Support Specialist. You will provide critical technical support to ensure flawless operations during live events in Toronto.
As a full-time contingent worker, your role will focus on delivering high-quality IT support, troubleshooting POS systems, and maintaining system reliability under pressure. Communicating effectively with vendors and users will be key to ensuring successful event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level support through various communication channels
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during live events
• Implement POS systems including Silverware and RFID
• Assist with Windows, iOS, and Android device setup
• Contribute to the IT knowledge base and asset management
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in IT support
• Familiarity with POS systems and networks preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of ITIL practices is an asset
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings
