As a Community Development Worker, you will engage with individuals in supportive housing while promoting wellness and self-sufficiency. Collaborating closely with program participants, you will develop, organize, and evaluate various programs tailored to their needs. This contract role is designed for someone committed to implementing community development and anti-oppression principles while assessing program needs and managing various workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain client records and program enrollment data
• Create and facilitate engaging skill-building workshops
• Develop new programming based on assessed tenant interests
• Collaborate with community partners for enhanced service delivery
• Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and objectives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field
• 3+ years experience in programming facilitation
• Proven ability in needs assessments and planning
• Familiarity with community development principles
• Document interactions using provided software
