Registered Nurse Critical Care

Serve as a Registered Nurse within the Critical Care Nursing Resource Team, focusing on high-acuity patient care. Support critically ill patients and families through assessment, intervention, and education.

This vital position reports to the Patient Care Manager and entails working alongside healthcare professionals in both ICU and the Emergency Department. It requires a robust commitment to Patient-Centred Care and the standards set by the Ontario College of Nurses. Your role will be crucial in improving patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.

• Assess patient's critical care needs promptly
• Provide interventions in ICU and Emergency settings
• Educate patients and family about care processes
• Collaborate with health care team members
• Advocate for principles of patient-centered care

• Registration with Ontario College of Nurses
• Current BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Preferred Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
• Critical Care Certificate necessary or relevant experience
• Demonstrate commitment to qualified development
