Casual NICU Registered Nurse

Advance your nursing expertise as a Casual Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit hael’s Hospital. This role requires specialized knowledge in neonatal care and strong patient advocacy skills.

You will be responsible for delivering holistic, evidence-based nursing care that enhances patient outcomes in a fast-paced NICU setting. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team, employing critical thinking and reflective practices to improve care strategies and patient education. Your leadership and mentorship will contribute to team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic care to neonates and their families

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

• Advocate for patient needs and safety

• Keep accurate documentation of care processes

Requirements:

• Must hold RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current BLS Certification and relevant neonatal training

• Experience in NICU or completion of specialized courses

• Demonstrated planning and organization skills

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
