In this role, you'll manage nursing practices to ensure quality care for residents in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities include developing tailored care plans, monitoring patient progress, and supervising nursing staff. You'll also conduct staff evaluations and lend direction during the absence of the Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care aligned with established nursing standards
• Assist in monitoring patient health and care planning
• Supervise nursing staff assigned to your unit
• Conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Offer guidance during the Director of Care's absence
Requirements:
• Valid nursing certification from recognized institutions
• Registered or eligible for registration in Ontario
• Previous experience in community or long-term care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective prioritization and problem-solving abilities
