Kensington Hospice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in palliative care to enhance our dedicated team. This role focuses on delivering expert clinical support and collaborative patient care in a 19-bed hospice environment.

Join Kensington Hospice, a division of The Kensington Health Centre, as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on palliative care. With over 3 years of experience in hospice settings, you will provide clinical care and expert advice, participate in resident rounds, and lead educational initiatives within the team. Your expertise will help improve pain and symptom management for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care and advice on pain/symptom management

• Participate in resident rounds and interdisciplinary case conferences

• Collaborate with palliative care physician teams on patient assessments

• Consult and develop care protocols and best practice guidelines

• Engage in hospice palliative care research and innovations

Requirements:

• 3+ years in hospice palliative care settings

• 2+ years in community care experience

• Proven team building and clinical advancement abilities

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (Extended Class)

• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
