As Supervisor, MRI, you are employed by Sinai Health with accountability at Mount Sinai Hospital and additional accountability at Women’s College Hospital, offering a unique opportunity to lead across two sites. • Supervise, organize, assign, and distribute workload among assigned staff to ensure both departments operate in a manner that is efficient, volume and outcome responsive.
• Coach and mentor assigned staff to foster a positive atmosphere to support team building, collaboration and shared learning.
• Perform administrative responsibilities to facilitate processes/procedures improvement in an efficient, effective work environment.
• Maintain a system for detecting, documenting, and reporting discrepancies/errors; take appropriate actions as required.
• Oversee financial responsibilities for assigned cost centers, including reporting and correcting discrepancies and preparing variance reports.
• Anticipate impacts of change on quality assurance procedures and initiate timely adaptations to ensure quality control is maintained.
• Participate in professional development, teaching/educational activities, safety and quality improvement programs to ensure excellence in the provision of service.
• Perform other duties related to the job classification, as required.
