As Supervisor, MRI, you are employed by Sinai Health with accountability at Mount Sinai Hospital and additional accountability at Women’s College Hospital, offering a unique opportunity to lead across two sites. In this capacity, you’ll guide these teams with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Your ability to mentor and support staff is evident in the way you provide guidance on complex scans, address workflow challenges, and ensure technologists have the resources they need. You take initiative in refining protocols, sharing insights with peers across multiple hospitals to drive improvements in MR safety, safety in general, efficiency and image quality.

Your leadership ensures a seamless imaging experience that enhances clinical decision‑making.

Are you skilled at solving operational challenges while balancing administrative responsibilities? You anticipate workflow bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions, whether it’s optimizing scanner utilization or troubleshooting technical issues, to keep imaging services running smoothly. With strong time‑management attributes, you effectively balance competing priorities from staffing adjustments to payroll, attendance tracking, and performance management, ensuring seamless operations. With strong organizational skills and a proactive approach, you improve efficiency while supporting both staff and patient care.

In

this role you will:
  • Supervise, organize, assign, and distribute workload among assigned staff to ensure both departments operate in a manner that is efficient, volume and outcome responsive.
  • Coach and mentor assigned staff to foster a positive atmosphere to support team building, collaboration and shared learning.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities to facilitate processes/procedures improvement in an efficient, effective work environment.
  • Maintain a system for detecting, documenting, and reporting discrepancies/errors; take appropriate actions as required.
  • Oversee financial responsibilities for assigned cost centers, including reporting and correcting discrepancies and preparing variance reports.
  • Anticipate impacts of change on quality assurance procedures and initiate timely adaptations to ensure quality control is maintained.
  • Participate in professional development, teaching/educational activities, safety and quality improvement programs to ensure excellence in the provision of service.
  • Perform other duties related to the job classification, as required.
