Drive geochemistry assessments as a Senior Geochemist with WSP in Ontario. Collaborate with over 30 experts on large-scale mining projects in a flexible working environment.
This senior-level position empowers you to oversee geochemistry projects across the Canadian mining sector. You will lead multiple initiatives, engage with team members, and interact with various stakeholders.
Your role includes creating models, reports, and regulatory submissions while ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and review project scopes, budgets, and schedules
• Direct geochemical and environmental assessment project execution
• Design field programs to analyze geochemical characteristics
• Manage, interpret, and analyze geochemical data effectively
• Supervise and mentor junior staff for skill development
Requirements:
• University degree in geochemistry, geology, or earth sciences
• Minimum 10 years in environmental consulting or mining
• Valid professional designation in Ontario
• Expertise in acid rock drainage and mine waste analysis
• Strong communication and project management skills
