Apply for this full-time position with a focus on installing various flooring materials, including vinyl, hardwood, parquet, linoleum, and cork. Experience in measuring, cutting, and installing resilient floor coverings is required.

English

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

3 to less than 5 years in floor installation or a related field.

Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required.

• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and under padding
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
• Prepare and install hardwood floors
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
• Conduct moisture, PH, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations
• Estimate costs and materials
• Prepare floors for installations
• Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
• Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms
• Install vinyl decking materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products
