Job Functions:
Work in accordance with all safety procedures, standards and regulationsAbility to work under close supervision of Journeyman mechanicAttend and participate in scheduled safety and maintenance meetingsProfessional and service-oriented interactions with all staffPerform maintenance tasks and maintain clean work areaAttend and participate in work-related training and development opportunitiesReview work required from preventative maintenance inspection with supervisorAble to complete electronic work orders Perform repairs required from preventative maintenance inspectionDiagnose and communicate required parts to lead-hand or parts coordinatorQualifications and
Experience:
Registered as an apprentice truck and/or trailer mechanicMust be flexible and willing to learn under the guidance of a journeyman mechanicExperience working as a B620 inspector considered an assetMechanical knowledge, Computer skillsHigh degree of professionalismAdditional assets include knowledge of engine diagnostics
