Position: Covenant House Family Supports Counsellor
Make a difference at Covenant House as a Family and Natural Supports Counsellor. This full-time position involves direct counseling and outreach to youth in an on-site clinical setting.
Covenant House seeks a dedicated Family and Natural Supports Counsellor to provide essential services to at-risk youth. This role focuses on family engagement and counseling, including navigating social services and facilitating workshops. You will strengthen youth connections to prevent homelessness and enhance their life paths through supportive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage youth in the city's shelter system

• Facilitate group activities and workshops

• Provide therapy to youth and family supports

• Enhance capacity to navigate social challenges

• Collaborate with community services and partners
Requirements:

• BSW, MSW, or counselling degree required

• Registration with a regulatory college preferred

• Understanding of youth homelessness and mental health

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings

• Strong outreach and family engagement skills
