Onsite Client Support Worker Position

Your work as a Client Support Worker will directly enrich the lives of vulnerable seniors, providing assistance with daily living tasks and helping them access community resources. Through individualized care planning and group engagements, you'll foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and independence. This full-time position operates from 3 PM to 11 PM, on-site at Cedarvale Avenue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish strong relationships with program participants
• Facilitate care planning and life skills training
• Assist in navigating community services and resources
• Monitor well-being and document client progress
• Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in Social Services or similar
• Minimum 2 years working with seniors in supportive roles
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with geriatric issues and community services
