As a vital member of the YWCA Toronto team, you will manage casework focused on housing stabilization and empower women and gender diverse individuals facing complex challenges. Your expertise in harm reduction and mental health will drive community initiatives, enhance tenant involvement, and support their journey towards stability. Collaboration is key as you work alongside a diverse network to create impactful programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement eviction prevention strategies for tenants
• Facilitate tenant-centered activities promoting harm reduction
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention support
• Develop and deliver community capacity-building programming
• Engage tenants in their individual treatment plans
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in social work or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in supportive housing
• Strong understanding of harm reduction principles
• Excellent crisis intervention and mediation skills
• Knowledgeable in housing law and community resources
