We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent. This full‑time, long‑term role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the foundation phase, supporting early childhood development and creating an engaging, inclusive classroom environment.

• Provide effective classroom support to teachers within the foundation phase
• Assist in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities for early learners
• Support individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Help manage the classroom and encourage pupil engagement and behaviour
• Collaborate closely with the Class Teacher to implement lesson plans and school policies
• Support pupils with additional learning needs as required

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated to supporting young learners
• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and pupil needs
• Basic knowledge of the curriculum and classroom management techniques
• Relevant qualifications or training in supporting teaching and learning (e.g., CACHE Level2 or3) is advantageous

• Full‑time, long‑term role working Monday to Friday
• Working hours:
  
  8:30am – 3:30pm
• Immediate start available for the right candidate
