Senior Director, Industrial Solutions – Magna IT

Salary:
Starting at $160,000 USD (immediate open position)

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP, EDI, MES and LES across all Magna plants worldwide.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for industrial solutions, aligning with business objectives.
• Identify and prioritize technology requirements that support plant operations and corporate goals.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation by staying informed of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Plan and resource projects for ERP, EDI, LES and MES; define system configurations, workflows and data integration requirements.
• Ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Monitor system performance, identify improvement areas and implement enhancements.
• Lead and mentor a team of industrial solution experts.
• Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the organization.
• Work closely with plant managers, operations leaders and other stakeholders to understand needs and challenges.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and recommendations on system enhancements and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and data privacy requirements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with industrial solutions, applying appropriate controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of IT leadership experience focused on industrial solutions (ERP, EDI, MES, LES).
• Deep knowledge of industrial processes, manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
• Track record of successfully implementing and managing ERP, EDI, MES and LES systems in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to inspire diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a history of driving process improvements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; proficient at collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing projects including budgeting, resource allocation and risk management.
• Regular overnight travel required.
