Stonyridge Veterinary Service-Client Service Representative

Troy, OH

Full-time

Scheduling:

35-40 hours/week

Monday-Friday availability required

No weekends/holidays

Our team is looking for a veterinary client service representative with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing person with great customer service skills who enjoys interacting with people.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • at least one year of previous customer service experience
  • experience in veterinary medicine or medical background preferred
  • has a flexible schedule
  • ability to multi-task
  • Must enjoy working with people and animals
Job Duties Include
  • Customer service functions include greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
