1st Shift Electrician Apprentice

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $25.00 an hour

• Training for apprentice will be provided. Apprenticeship is a system of training a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on-the-job training and accompanying study (classroom work and reading).
• Work with skilled electricians to install new and service existing electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Installing power supply wiring and conduit.
• Troubleshooting electrical components.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
• Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Ensuring code compliance of electrical installations.

• Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and pre‑employment drug test.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to raw food material, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling in tight spaces, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Conagra Brands also offers shift differential payment for those working off‑shift. Full time Electrician Apprentice will be expected to work a 40 hour week. The individual may be required to work overtime, some holidays, and some weekends.
