Job Title:

Project Engineering Manager – Water & Wastewater

You will manage execution of the engineering component of multiple traditional, design-build, design-bid-build, and collaborative delivery projects, including advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance, and carbon-neutral solutions.

• Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on high-profile municipal projects.
• Supervise and mentor engineering staff, identifying developmental growth opportunities.
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and correspondence with clients and project management.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations following standard methods.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate multiple discipline activities and serve as the responsible charge for a project.

• Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects.
• Communicate client concerns to the project team and develop solutions.
• Provide support for business development or pursuit activities.
• Manage project changes directly with the client under Project Manager supervision.

• Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables.
• Provide input to technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Drive solutions to achieve project goals.

• Review lower-level engineering work or assignments.
• Mentor and manage performance of assigned personnel.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Previous engineering consulting experience.
• Experience executing multi-discipline WTP and WWTP upgrades and expansions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements.

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after 90 days.
• Requires sitting/standing/computer usage for extended periods.
• Ability to use video/audio conferencing tools.
• Travel to client sites.
