PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. Pay: $19.44-$21.53 hourly.
Duties and Responsibilities- Safely and efficiently load and unload building materials from a commercial motor vehicle.
- Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads.
- Complete mileage and fuel usage reports.
- Demonstrates commitment to on‑time and in‑full deliveries.
- Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of the delivered shipment after each delivery.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain yard, warehouse, and vehicle cleanliness during the course of work.
- Find productive work to do in down time.
- Keep truck supplied, organized, and clean.
- Come to work professionally attired.
- Check load for accuracy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Complete required new hire training.
- Seek to learn products and their application for the end users.
- Learn and follow established best practices.
- Learn from mistakes and accept coaching as opportunities.
- Demonstrate legal and thorough knowledge of tie‑down rules and regulations.
- Understand weight, height, and length limits.
- Continue to participate in training as available.
- Learn best practices related to efficient loading, strapping, and driving.
- Always arrive on time and prepared to work.
- Consistently finish all work before leaving each day.

- Safety gear is always utilized (seatbelt, eye protection, ear protection, etc.).
- Keep truck clean daily.
- Always demonstrate consistency in following safety protocols.
- Demonstrate care, having minimal product damage.
- Proactively and consistently bring safety issues to the attention of manager and team.
- Encourage coworkers to follow best practices with safety.
- Participate on safety committee as able.
- Teach and coach teammates to learn from others’ mistakes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Open and transparent communication.
- Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Knowledge of building materials.
- Ability to speak, write, and read English (required).
- Shoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, made of leather or composite material, and have ankle support (required).
- Interpersonal skills to work cordially, professionally, and diplomatically with a high level of customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records, particularly cost of goods purchased and sold.
- Identify processes, tools, and/or procedures that may be improved upon to improve the workplace and outcomes for customers.
- Function independently, as part of a team, and as a leader within own cohort with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
- Think and respond quickly, positively, and professionally to constantly changing circumstances.
- Appropriately manage stress and interact with others.
- Support and contribute to effective safety and risk‑management efforts by adhering to established policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment, promoting accident prevention, and identifying and reporting potential liabilities.
