PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. Pay: $19.44-$21.53 hourly.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload building materials from a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads.
  • Complete mileage and fuel usage reports.
  • Demonstrates commitment to on‑time and in‑full deliveries.
  • Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of the delivered shipment after each delivery.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Maintain yard, warehouse, and vehicle cleanliness during the course of work.
  • Find productive work to do in down time.
  • Keep truck supplied, organized, and clean.
  • Come to work professionally attired.
  • Check load for accuracy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Safety gear is always utilized (seatbelt, eye protection, ear protection, etc.).
  • Keep truck clean daily.
  • Always demonstrate consistency in following safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate care, having minimal product damage.
  • Proactively and consistently bring safety issues to the attention of manager and team.
  • Encourage coworkers to follow best practices with safety.
  • Participate on safety committee as able.
  • Teach and coach teammates to learn from others’ mistakes.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Open and transparent communication.
  • Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications.
  • Able to read a tape measure.
  • Knowledge of building materials.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English (required).
  • Shoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, made of leather or composite material, and have ankle support (required).
  • Interpersonal skills to work cordially, professionally, and diplomatically with a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records, particularly cost of goods purchased and sold.
  • Identify processes, tools, and/or procedures that may be improved upon to improve the workplace and outcomes for customers.
  • Function independently, as part of a team, and as a leader within own cohort with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
  • Think and respond quickly, positively, and professionally to constantly changing circumstances.
  • Appropriately manage stress and interact with others.
  • Support and contribute to effective safety and risk‑management efforts by adhering to established policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment, promoting accident prevention, and identifying and reporting potential liabilities.
