Entry Level Laborer

Laborer – Installation of Running Tracks / Tennis Courts

We are seeking a Laborer to assist with the installation of running tracks and tennis courts. The role involves the following key responsibilities:

• Cleaning and preparation of asphalt/concrete surface to secure polyurethane track material – 40% of time.
• Use of small hand tools and power equipment in surface preparation and polyurethane installation – 20%.
• Carrying, mixing and pouring polyurethane to install track surface as required by OSHA safety standards – 10%.
• Recovery of excess rubber granules and edge detail trimming of track surface – 20%.
• General site cleanup and demobilization – 10%.

Number of years of relevant work experience: 2-3 years of field experience preferred but not required.

Quick study and able to meet physical demands. Activities and Duration:
Occasionally – 33%:
Jumping, climbing; 34–66%:
Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, kneeling, reaching above shoulder, forearm rotation, climbing continuously; 67–100%:
Twisting, turning, repetitive hand/wrist motions.

Critical Demands (Heavy):
Material handling (34–66% of the time) – lifting to waist height up to 50lbs, carrying up to 50lbs. Hand function: simple grasping, gross grasping, fine manipulation, use of machinery or tools (e.g., forklift, hand tools – drills, grinders).

Environment:
Heat, uneven surface, outdoor – 10hours/day.
