Overview
The Director of Quality is a strategic, forward-thinking leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s long-term quality vision. This role oversees all quality functions across the business and drives a proactive, prevention-focused culture rooted in “quality at the source.” The Director will develop and evolve the Quality Management System, implement best-practice processes, and lead enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance product quality, reduce cost of quality, and strengthen operational performance.
With a strong ability to anticipate future challenges and identify opportunities, this leader partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to implement sustainable improvements, champion cross‑functional collaboration, and ensure full compliance with industry standards. The Director of Quality also plays a critical role in mentoring teams, building organizational capability, and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Create and implement a best‑practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures that strengthen business performance and support a forward‑looking, long‑term quality roadmap.
- Lead and manage the quality function from new product conception through warranty analysis, ensuring a proactive culture rooted in quality at the source so that issues are prevented rather than detected downstream.
