Security Guard, Security Manager
The Judicial Security Officer is responsible for performing security functions for the Judicial Branch facilities and grounds. The incumbent is responsible for screening individuals entering the judicial branch facility for any contraband, narcotics, and/or weapons. The Judicial Security Officer performs duties, which include responding to alarms, emergency and non-emergency calls, patrolling assigned areas, providing security for the courtroom, and preparing reports.

- Prepare activity reports
- Provide security and escorts as required
- Ability to analyze and react to emergency situations
- Handle encounters with irate or hostile individuals
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including a computer and related software applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, management, Council members, and the public. Have ability to sufficiently exchange or convey information and receive verbal and written work instructions.
High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience: or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Courtroom or Security experience is preferred
High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience: or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Possess a valid State of Arizona Process Server Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Courtroom or Security experience is preferred
- Must not have any felony convictions deemed a felony by the State of Arizona or the United States Government
- Handheld/walk-through metal detectors and X-ray Machine Training or must be able to obtain training within six (6) months of hire
- Must obtain immunizations and medical tests as required to be able to work in high risk areas
- CPR/First Aid Certification or must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire
- Tactics for Officer Safety and Survival Training (T.O.S.S.) or must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire
- O.C. Spray and Taser Gun Certifications or must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire
- Breathe and Alcohol certification or must be able to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License
- This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends
