Job Overview:
The Senior COMSEC Specialist protects government, company, and third‑party information by leading internal security controls, administrative inquiries, personnel and physical security processes, and security awareness efforts.
- Conduct assigned Internal Security Controls through compliance assessment reviews and self‑inspections, ensuring compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
- Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
- Conduct Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes, and situations to determine level and scope of non‑compliance.
- Assist less experienced personnel with Internal Security Controls and Administrative Inquiries.
- Protect government, intellectual, third‑party, and company information from unauthorized disclosures by developing, implementing, and administering an Operational Security program, security education, procedures, and physical controls.
- Lead and perform Personnel Security team and/or process (work with databases, review files, conduct interviews, submit to customers and schedule briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for standard customer requirements.
- Conduct security awareness training and education program (e.g., briefings, bulletins, and visual reminders) to educate, refresh and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
- Perform Physical Security duties within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists, survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas).
- Perform Sub‑Contractor Management (provide contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits, and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Participate, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teams.
- Successfully completed a Tier5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years, or agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program such that 5‑year updates are no longer required.
- 5+ years of experience working with COMSEC materials and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Certification.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
- Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) certification.
- Security Plus experience.
- Client Platform Administrator (CPA) experience.
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is considered active.
Export Control RequirementThis position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person,” as defined by 22C.F.R. §120.62, is required.
Pay & Benefits- Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.

- Pay range: $119,000–$161,000, based on candidate experience and qualifications.
