EXPLEO GROUP USA is currently looking for a Stress Engineer to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Tulsa, OK
.
The Stress Engineer will apply knowledge of engineering principles, theories, concepts, industry practices, and standards to deliver high‑quality structural engineering solutions while assuring procedural and configuration‑control compliance within assigned engineering project teams.
Responsibilities- Perform static stress analysis on aerospace structures
- Conduct fatigue and damage tolerance analysis to ensure long‑term durability
- Create and solve Finite Element Models (FEM) for structural components
- Generate, review, and approve analysis reports
- Prepare and validate Strength Check Notes (SCNs)
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide factory support
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing work assignments
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural, or closely related field)
- ABET‑accredited Engineering degree recognized under the Washington Accord
- 10+ years of aerospace stress engineering experience (Boeing product experience preferred)
- 5+ years of defense experience
- Experience with Boeing Defense structural analysis standards
- Familiarity with advanced composite materials
- Knowledge of damage tolerance methodologies
- Strong proficiency in static stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and FEM tools
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
