Aircraft Component / Avionics Technician | FAA Repair Station | $21.90–$26.37/hr
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Component / Avionics Technician to join an FAA-certified repair station team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft cargo system components while ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and strict quality standards.

Position OverviewAs part of the repair station team, you will work hands-on with aircraft cargo system components to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, and document maintenance activities in accordance with FAA Part 145 requirements and internal quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft cargo system components including cargo nets, locks, rollers, latches, and related hardware
- Perform functional, operational, and final testing to verify compliance with FAA, OEM, and customer specifications
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and testing equipment to ensure proper tolerances and component performance
- Accurately complete repair, inspection, and maintenance documentation in compliance with FAA Part 145 standards
- Read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance instructions, blueprints, and work orders
- Maintain compliance with all FAA, safety, quality, and repair station procedures
- Identify discrepancies or component failures and communicate findings appropriately
- Support continuous quality and operational improvement initiatives
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station, MRO, aircraft maintenance, avionics, or aircraft component repair environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment
- Familiarity with FAA regulatory compliance and quality documentation preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check (FAA-regulated environment)
Pay: $21.90–$26.37 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
