Applications Engineer – Combustion Rental Team

John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking to add an Applications Engineer to our Combustion Rental Team located in Tulsa, OK.

• Manage a fast‑paced sales environment and quick response time requirements to meet customer needs.
• Own the client relationship and proposal generation process from initial contact through order acceptance.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals that communicate the value of our equipment and service solutions directly to our customers.
• Engage with customers in person and virtually to customize and optimize the rental solution to meet their specific needs.
• Leverage the vast expertise across John Zink and Koch Engineered Solutions’ global team to develop unique, value‑added equipment and turnkey solutions for our clients.
• Work with the execution team to ensure an accurate turnover package and up‑to‑date schedules.

• Demonstrated experience in creating long‑term value for customers.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
• Safe work capability at customers’ manufacturing facilities using appropriate PPE.
• Ability to obtain a passport and TWIC within 3 months of start date.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Work experience in engineering, sales, system/process design, or project management within an engineered‑to‑order manufacturing environment.
• Industry‑specific knowledge in vapor, flaring, biogas, or thermal oxidizer markets.
• Previous experience in the rental equipment business.
