Job DescriptionThe Institutional Wealth - Plan Compliance Consultant position is primarily responsible for providing in-depth technical, analytical, and managerial assistance to the Manager, Plan Compliance Services; ensuring pension and profit sharing information is in compliance with plan documents and government regulations; working with complex client situations providing compliance services and developing relationships.
How You'll Spend Your Time- You will provide in-depth technical, analytical, and managerial assistance to the Manager of Compliance Services.
- You will supervise and review the work of the Institutional Wealth Plan Compliance staff.
- You will train new employees, provide continuing education, guidance and training, as well as conduct performance reviews.
- You will manage and supervise the ADP (Actual Deferral Percentage) /ACP (Actual Contribution Percentage) testing for all plan compliance clients, review and perform ADP/ACP tests, and set up spreadsheets to do calculations for tests.
- You will manage and supervise the 5500 filings for all plan compliance clients to ensure compliance and minimize risk to the bank.
- You will determine participant eligibility for employer contributions.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field of study and 6-8 years of directly related experience in Trust Retirement Plan Administration or 12-14 years equivalent combination of education and experience.
