Position Summary
Shift: 1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
We are seeking experienced Structural Welders who can confidently perform a 3G MIG weld on 3/8" carbon plate, all the way out. Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience welding in a structural fabrication shop and be proficient with MIG and Flux‑Core processes.
- Perform high‑quality MIG and Flux‑Core welds in 3G (vertical) and other positions (horizontal, overhead as needed).
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
- Accurately read tape measures, calipers, rulers, and other measuring tools.
- Determine proper welding method, equipment, and settings based on project requirements.
- Set voltage/amp settings and adjust welding machines as needed.
- Cut and prep material (e.g., using powered saws).
- Operate grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds.
- Align, clamp, and fit components according to specifications.
- Inspect welds and finished assemblies to ensure structural integrity and conformance.
- Maintain welding equipment in safe, reliable working condition.
- Minimum 6 months structural welding experience.
- Strong proficiency in MIG and Flux‑Core welding.
- Demonstr ability to pass a 3G MIG weld test on 3/8" carbon steel plate.
- Ability to read blueprints, follow layout instructions, and work independently.
- Solid understanding of welding machine setup and weld quality standards.
- Ability to grind, fit, and prep components safely and accurately.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
